One of the best decisions I made after buying a home in Durham was to hook up with Jon Hutchins to do landscaping and other lawn care work. He is a truly talented landscaper. He has done several projects for me since 2009, all very good pieces of work. He just finished designing and constucting a stone patio with lovely plantings around it. He is a conscientious guy with good family values and very trustworthy. Even better still, his prices are very reasonable. One can’t go wrong contracting lawn care or landscaping with him.

“Hutchins Landscaping did a great job in our backyard. They installed a patio and surrounding edging and mulch. They were able to come out at relatively short notice to complete and add to the project. We have contracted with them for continual lawn maintenance. Prices are excellent and service is impeccable. I would recommend them to any of my neighbors.
It went great. We contacted John after other work he performed in the neighborhood. He came out and provided the estimate. Then him and his crew worked at the house for 2 days to complete the project. The follow-up has been great and we can’t wait to complete other projects with him.”

He has cared for our lawn through its cutting, fertilizing, weed control, aerating, and seeding. He also maintains our irrigation system. He has pruned and planted for us and has provided pine straw for our perimeter beds.
